Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature (soft)
Preparation
Step 1
Whisk the flour, baking powder, and sugar together in a large bowl until evenly combined.
Step 2
Make a well in the center and add the sour cream, eggs, and butter. Using a fork, start to break up and mix the wet ingredients together, then slowly start to incorporate the flour until a shaggy dough starts to come together. Knead by hand until smooth and uniform.
Step 3
Divide into two even pieces, shape into a disc and wrap tightly with plastic wrap.
Step 4
Refrigerate overnight and then roll out and use as you wish or freeze for up to 1 month.
